How To Bring Up Service Mode On Verizon
Samsung Network Technology Menu
Just switched to Verizon on my unlocked S8 and noticed Verizon blocks the *#0011# card on their phones to see lte info. Anyway to become this to work again? Verizon is the just carrier I've noticed where this doesn't piece of work.

Yes - Samsung does disable dialer shortcodes on behalf of The states Cellular and Verizon. Linked below is the download for an internal Samsung tool that unlocks these menus. (Sharing because I strongly believe this to exist bullshit/unacceptable on Verizon's role)https://world wide web.dropbox.com/sh/dl/2f7tw8ydtck7sz9/AAA_T9r8R2O8Y4Czjeth-MBva
You'll need: Windows PC USB cable Phone Subconscious Card Tool(extract the .exe and .dll file into the same directory)
-
Dial ##366633# on the phone
-
Select the enable DM Fashion on the phone
-
Connect phone to PC
-
Open up Hidden Menu Tool executable
-
Make sure the driblet downwardly pick in Hidden Menu Tool is set to enable
-
Click start
-
Wait for information technology to go from REQ to Laissez passer next to your connected device port
-
At present y'all can use codes such as #0# and *#0011#

Thank you for the instructions. it sure works. Is there a fashion to actuate *#BAND# and *#197328640# equally well?
level 2
Beginning fourth dimension I heard of this. Who wants to give it a try?
level 2
Cheers, sounds to good to exist true lol

Thanks! This worked for me on a Samsung Galaxy S8+. Unfortunate that *#2263# does not seem to work. I loved using that on the Samsung Galaxy S3 I had to lock the phone to LTE or 3G in certain scenarios. Now I want to use it to lock my phone to LTE, and disable CDMA (just for scientific discipline).
level 2
Thank you and then much for sharing. Let's hope they don't disable this tool in a future update.

Information technology worked 10/24/21
Note 10 Plus on current updates on Verizon using latest Samsung USB driver and blazon c to c cablevision. Non root. You lot have to do it in the specific club or it fucks up. The awarding is buggy. Make certain y'all don't open an instance of it until you go to that step or you will take to go through task manager and close information technology. Brand sure you enable dm mode before plugging in the phone. Then plug in, run as admin, then should work. It took me 4 tries

Dang... I recently stumbled on this, and was hopeful the s6 I take, just ##366633# does nil, so I guess I'm stuck. Is at that place an alternate manner to enable DM manner?

Apple doesn't cake and so it's samsung bending over for Verizon.
level 2
To be off-white Apple doesn't allow you utilise band locking and a lot of other stuff.
Personally if I used a Samsung on Verizon information technology would be with unlocked firmware.
level 1
No way around it, unfortunately. They cake all dialer codes, even the innocuous one that shows your IMEI.
level 1
Even if you take out the SIM menu. It'due south all blocked.
level 1
Works on my S10+ on the unlocked firmware :D

I see that this thread is really sometime but I'm trying to follow the steps for Milky way s20 ultra. It shows up in the enable tool but always neglect's. Any idea what can I do to fix it?
level 2
Aye! Endeavour to employ a shorter cord from your PC to the S20. Likewise, brand sure the cord is a skillful one. Also try every bit many cords every bit you can 1 will work. This worked on my factory unlocked s20 Ultra and my manufacturing plant unlocked s21 Ultra with Verizon sim and firmware. Some of the dialer codes work only the avant-garde carte du jour is bare one time information technology changes to the service mode screen. Some work fine. One more matter, if you guys are having trouble getting band selection to work, try to get to the play shop and download Activity Launcher. When y'all become inside the app use the search drinking glass to search "call settings". Click the 2nd issue "com.samsung.android.app.telephony.hiddennetworksetting.MainActivity" If y'all want to utilize it oftentimes just click the three little dots to the right and make a shortcut it will place it on your dwelling screen. You're welcome!
